People need to create. Creativity is a human need and everyone should have access to the life-enhancing power of the creative arts. That’s why Create Week exists.
Taking place from 1–7 July, this week-long event initiated by the charity Create celebrates creativity and its importance for the wellbeing of everyone. Whether you’re a professional or amateur artist – Create Week is for you!
This year, Create Week is all about connection.
Connection to ourselves, through moments of creativity and reflection.
Connection to others, by sharing creative experiences.
And connection to something bigger – taking part in a global celebration of creativity.
Through simple, accessible activities, Create Week invites everyone to slow down, express themselves, and connect in meaningful ways.

To help you unleash your creativity during Create Week, our professional artists have designed seven creative activities ranging from mindfulness zines and creative writing to diorama worlds and origami.
To power your creative journey, when you download the activities you can enter a free draw to win goodie bags of art supplies worth £100.
Create Week isn’t just about taking part – it’s about bringing people together.
We invite organisations, community groups, schools and individuals to run their own Create Week events, using our free activities to spark creativity and connection.
Whether you’re planning something big or small, formal or informal, we’d love to support you.

Create Week grows through people sharing it.
If you have a community, platform or audience, you can play a huge role in helping more people access creativity.
You could:
Every share helps us reach more people who could benefit from creativity.
Creativity has the power to improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and help us connect with ourselves and others.
But access to the arts is not equal. Many people face barriers to taking part in creative activities – whether due to cost, confidence or opportunity.
Create Week is trying changing that – by opening up creativity to everyone.

From 1–7 July 2025, thousands of people across the UK (and beyond) took part in Create Week – exploring creativity in ways that were personal, playful and powerful.
People of all ages and abilities got involved – from collaging abstract landscapes to writing monologues and building puppets from everyday materials.
One standout moment saw White Stuff and Harrow Carers collaborate with Create artist Alba to design a vibrant shop window display – giving unpaid carers time to step away from their responsibilities, connect with others and express themselves creatively.

The window dressing experience has created many precious memories to treasure for ever. A big ‘Thank you’ to all involved!

Across the UK, organisations embraced Create Week – running workshops, sharing activities, and bringing people together in meaningful ways.
It felt really refreshing to slow down, do something with my hands and chat with colleagues in a relaxed setting.

Some even built entire events around the activities, creating spaces for people to draw, make and share their experiences together.

We’re always looking to work with people and organisations who share our belief that creativity should be accessible to everyone.
If you’re an artist or creator with an online audience, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re inviting creators to:

Last year, partnerships – including our work with White Stuff – helped us reach over 1.5 million people online and engage communities across the UK.
If your organisation is interested in partnering with Create Week, we’d love to hear from you.
