Change:matters zine making
In our change:matters zine making workshops, young carers learn about saving, budgeting, interest, borrowing money and debt through a combination of creative writing and visual art.
A zine is like a DIY book that anyone can make. In a story, events lead from one to the other, so it’s a nice way to think through how people make decisions, and to put that power into young carers’ hands.
Led by our professional artists, young carers explore these themes by writing and illustrating creative comics, where characters navigate different financial scenarios and consider the consequences of the decisions they might make. Scroll down to see some of their work.
