Salary £20,000-£22,000pa according to experience, + annual 7.5% “loyalty scheme (terms & conditions apply).
Are you an experienced, driven, highly organised Project Manager looking for a new challenge within an award winning creative arts charity?
Create is seeking a dynamic, energetic, people-centred individual with experience of managing creative arts projects in education and community settings. The full time position would suit someone with a passion for the arts – and the power of the arts as a transformational tool in challenging community settings – who has project management experience, ideally gained in the arts or charity sector. You will have a passion for arts education and knowledge of the arts, together with outstanding interpersonal, negotiation and organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively, persuasively and empathetically. You will have worked with a variety of different groups of vulnerable people (eg: prison inmates, homeless people, young carers, vulnerable women, older people. As Create continues to develop its work over the coming years, the job may involve increasing levels of travel around the UK. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Create’s projects and will oversee our freelance professional artists at workshops and events. Drive, passion, a “can do” attitude, outstanding organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and rigorous evaluation expertise are essential. All Create personnel are required to have a DBS check, which Create will carry out upon appointment, and to work within our dress code.
