Create’s and Daytrippers’ joint 10th birthday party!

Face paint! On Sunday 28 April, we partnered with charity Daytrippers to celebrate our joint 10th birthday with a creative:space birthday party for disabled children and their families.  Using the format of our popular creative:space events, we added party games such as musical statues, ‘the wheels on the bus..’ and ‘leaning forward/leaning back’, as well as face painting, glitter tattoos, a birthday tea and a giant teddy bear!  Music was provided by creative:space regulars Bad Ass Brass and musical savant, pianist Derek Paravicini.  A fantastic afternoon was had by all and we would like to thank Fidelity Worldwide Investment, Henry Wood Hall and an anonymous donor for supporting the event and The Indulgent Sugar Plum for providing the most amazing cupcakes!

“The event was brilliant at including everybody – whatever the Bad Ass Brass in action!child’s/adult’s ability.”

“Happy 10th Birthday to you all and thank you so much for the wonderful 10th Birthday Party, it was amazing!!!!  It was so great to meet you and the whole event was very relaxed and open, very touching  knowing such a lot of effort, thought, hard work and planning went into it all.  My sister Sarah, myself and my two daughters, Seren and Mabli had such a fab time, we loved Bad Ass Brass, fantastic musicians with great attitude, Derek and the arts n’ crafts and the cupcakes!!

“Thank you for a wonderful opportunity to come and have fun!”

Why not have a look at photos of the event or find out more about how you can be involved in our 10th anniversary year?”
