Create is seeking an exceptional, target-driven fundraiser for the position of Development Assistant (Trusts/Foundations). 

Create is seeking an exceptional, target-driven fundraiser with experience in the area of trusts/foundations for the position of Development Assistant.  This is an exciting time for Create, which has ambitious plans to extend the reach of its work in line with the Business Plan that is currently being finalised.  You will have a proven track record in securing grants and managing existing and new relationships with charitable trusts/foundations.  Your role will cover other areas of fundraising including securing auction/raffle items for Create’s annual Fundraising Gala.  Depending on your experience, you may also be given responsibility for media relations.  You will have a passion for arts education and a knowledge of the arts, together with outstanding interpersonal, presentation and organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively.   All Create personnel are required to have an enhanced disclosure through the Criminal Records Bureau, which the charity will carry out upon appointment.

‘L’ is for the way you look at me

New projects on the horizon

We are delighted to have secured a grant of £62,000 from The Queen’s Silver Jubilee Trust, which is enabling us to develop further two of our major arts projects: a creative arts programme for young carers; and Inside Stories, our creative writing and illustration project for young offenders.  The funding will give more than 100 young carers and up to 30 young offenders the opportunity to take part in creative arts activities that will enable them to develop skills to benefit themselves and help others.
