JOB VACANCY: FINANCE MANAGER

Finance Manager (Ref: FM1-17)

Part Time (0.4FTE / 2 days pw). Salary £35,000 – 40,000 (pro rata)

A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Senior Management Team of award-winning charity Create.

Create is seeking an exceptional, experienced individual for the position of Finance Manager, which reports to the Chief Executive. The post is responsible for directing, administering and coordinating the finance activities of the charity in accordance with policies, goals and objectives established by the Chief Executive and Board of Trustees, and to assure the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of delivery of these activities. You will work in a dynamic and growing environment, taking ownership of financial accounting and reporting, management accounting and reporting, financial systems and processes, and charity finance. You will be a key member of Create’s Senior Management Team and will play a central role in helping to shape the charity’s decision making and strategy. You will have experience of the charity sector and a passion for the areas of activity in which Create works, extensive experience of working in a complex finance role, strong interpersonal, presentation and organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively. All Create personnel are required to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which Create will carry out upon appointment; and to adhere to the charity’s Dress Code.
