In less than 20 days, seasoned Create artist James Baldwin will be swimming 750m, cycling 20km and running 5km, all in aid of charity!  Money raised will be split between Create and St Catherine’s Hospice, which will enable us to design and deliver more creative arts programmes that will reach more disadvantaged and vulnerable people.   His triathlon also forms part of our tenth anniversary 10 for 10 challenge!

James commented: “Create is an amazing charity that uses the arts to make a difference: whether that’s making a young person in end of life care smile or helping a vulnerable person express a traumatic experience, Create listens, cares and shares.”

Nicky Goulder, our Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to be the co-recipients of James’s amazing efforts.  I can’t imagine doing one of those activities, let alone all three on the same day!  Many of our participants experience huge challenges in their lives that they don’t choose and I’m so grateful to James for opting for such a huge challenge to raise money to enable us to make more of a difference to more of them.”
